Imagine it

Close your eyes
for a moment.

Imagine yourself surrounded by the Australian bush, on the lands of the Darkinjung people. A pool and hydrotherapy hot tub. Nourishing food. Birdsong. Deep rest. Fun movement to nourish the body and soul, in the company of supportive, experienced facilitators who just get it.

When we come together to do the work, it is soul led and deep ... but it's also playful and connected.

I understand the investment. The time and the money, carved out and away from the people you love most. We make this space for ourselves, and for you, because it's worth it. What you come home with is something else. And it's not only yours to keep ... it ripples out to the people you love most. It ripples out into all the places that mean the most to you in life. And if you don't know what that is yet, you will leave knowing. Not just in your mind, but in your body and soul as well.

This weekend is not just about relaxing, restoring and nourishing the body (though we will absolutely do that too). It's about connecting to what means most to you. And why. It's about reigniting your purpose ... connecting to your own clarity, play, curiosity and deep rest, all at the same time.

And if you have done breathwork with me before, this is your chance to go deeper. In your understanding, and in your own practice.

Who this is for

This retreat is for the one
who keeps everything running.

The one who shows up for everyone else ... and can't remember the last time someone genuinely took care of them.

If you want a passive holiday, this isn't it. If you're ready to feel genuinely different ... it is.

What this does

Your body keeps score.
This weekend, it gets to let go.

Your body holds on to the stress of daily life. The tension in your jaw, your shoulders, your chest. The exhaustion that sleep doesn't touch. The old patterns that keep you stuck, overwhelmed, and running on empty ... no matter how well you manage everything on the surface.

One breathwork session can shift a lot. Four sessions over three days, with nowhere to be and no one needing you ... that's where the deeper unwinding happens. Breath and movement, working on your body and your mind together, releasing the old pathways that have kept you looping.

You'll drive home feeling lighter, nourished, and more yourself than you've felt in a long time. That's not a promise I make lightly. It's what happens when a small group of people choose, together, to actually stop.

What's included

Everything taken care of.
Nothing to organise.

One price. Turn up with your bag. We'll do the rest.

01
An intimate, small group

Small enough for real depth. Big enough that you'll find your people. Most guests arrive alone ... and leave with friendships they didn't expect.

The weekend

Three days in a valley.
A long time for something to shift.

You arrive on Friday afternoon. The drive alone starts to unwind you ... bush, then valley, then silence. You settle in, share a meal, meet the small group of people who chose, like you, to be here. Saturday and Sunday follow a spacious rhythm. Deep breathwork in the morning. A long rest. Breathwork again in the afternoon. Movement, food, water ... and evenings that surprise you. By Sunday's closing circle, most people don't quite have words for what happened. They'll find them later.

The location

A place that does
half the work for you.

A private bush retreat nestled in a lush green valley between the McDonald River and the Yengo Mountains. On the edge of Yengo National Park. 90 minutes from Sydney.

We will gather on the lands of the Darkinjung people, the Traditional Custodians of this country. We honour their deep and ongoing connection to this land, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Pool, outdoor hydrotherapy spa, generous communal spaces, and bush in every direction. Your nervous system will feel it the moment you turn into the driveway.

Questions

Answered honestly.

Is this retreat right for me if I've never done breathwork before?
Yes. Most people who come have little or no breathwork experience. Lucine guides every session with care and meets you exactly where you are. There is no "right" experience and no expectations.
I'm coming alone. Will I feel out of place?
Most guests come solo ... and leave with connections they didn't expect. The small group size (12 maximum) makes it easy to genuinely connect. By Saturday morning, you'll feel like you've known people for years.
Is $1,200 worth it?
That's a fair question. It covers 2 nights accommodation, all meals from Friday evening to Sunday lunch, four 2.5-hour breathwork sessions, somatic movement and dance with Taline, a sound healing and cacao ceremony, a myofascial release workshop, and full access to the pool and hydrotherapy spa. There is nothing else to pay for on the weekend. Compare it to what you've spent on things that didn't change much ... and ask what a genuine shift in how you feel is worth to you.
Are there any health conditions that would stop me attending?
Breathwork is contraindicated for certain conditions including some cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, and pregnancy. You'll complete a health screening form after registration. If you're unsure, reach out before booking ... I'd much rather have the conversation than have you miss out.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Your place includes a comfortable single bed in a shared room. If you would prefer a private room for an extra cost, email lucine@backtobreath.net.au before booking and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
How do I get there?
The retreat is 90 minutes from Sydney by car. There is no public transport to the venue. After you register, we'll help connect participants for carpooling if needed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable after a 7-day cooling-off period. Full refunds (less the deposit) are available up to 30 days before the retreat. Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat are non-refundable, though your spot may be transferred to another person.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes for movement, something warm for evenings, swimwear for the pool and spa, a journal if you like to write, and an open mind. We'll send a full packing guide after you register.
